What is the live portrait booth?

The Sunny Souvenir Live Portrait Drawing booth is a live drawing experience where I create caricature illustrations for your guests at your event. I bring my digital art practice packed in a fun "photo booth" where I draw your guests and have the illustrations printed to take home afterwards. My goal is to creatively capture this moment with you, your loved ones, and your community in a memorable keepsake that they will treasure beyond the event day.

Portrait Booth Packages

Full Service Coverage - All Guests Drawn (reccommended for Weddings)

  • Price Scaled to Guest Count, starting at $1500 for 50 guests
    - All Guests will be drawn once, either as solo, couple, group or faimly (4 people per frame)

  • Live (on-site) Experience and Studio Completion
    - complimentary mail out to guests if work was not finished on-site
    -Guests will pose for a picture. After entering their contact information into my digital queue, guests are free to enjoy the event and pick their printed portraits once they are done at their leisure.
    - Will attend and draw live for the entire duration of the event, as long as it will take to complete all/as many portraits as possible

  • 1 complimentary portrait of the celebrant(s)

  • Choice of booth set up

  • 1 custom frame design and custom instruction sheet

  • Customized photo taking experience
    - Flipshot options on my phone to show guests funny photos of the celebrant(s) while they get their photo taken

  • 4"x6" prints of the guest illustrations, 1 print per guest

  • Digital files available after the event

  • 1 artist

  • set up and tear down

  • booking time lead 8+ weeks in advance, rush fees apply

Hourly Rate Package

  • $250/Hour (Minimmum 2 hour reservation)

Space Requirements

  • Portrait booth needs about 6'x5'
    - supplies includes: 6' table, booth set up, sitting space for artist and guests

  • Preference on access to an outlet, but flexible if not available

FAQ

Q. How long does it take to do one portrait?
It varies depending on the amount of people pictured in one frame. Drawings for one person can take anywhere around 3-7 minutes. Please add an additional few minute buffer for printing time, which can vary depending on the amount of copies printed and the pace of the event.Q. What if a someone wants to order another copy of the portrait?
Packages include 1 print per guest within the illustration. If you would like me to print additional copies while I'm on-site, you can pay $5/per copy requested after I have finished either all the guests illustrations (full service package) or within the last 30 minutes of our contract together (hourly rate package.) You may contact me after the event via email for additional copies to be mailed out, with an additional cost of shipping added on top of the additional copy fee.Q. Is this AI?
Nope! All hand drawn with the skills I've practiced for many years, between the passion for drawing I grew up with, my animation degree and industry experience, and as a small art business owner. Please do not be mistaken by my use of digital tools, feel free to watch me draw at the event or check out my work process on social media!

I'm a Filipino-American cartoonist and illustrator based in southern California making silly, joyful, and colorful art!
